I recently bought some new computer memory, for my Dell Dimension 2400 computer. I made sure it was the right type and speed, DDR 3200 1gb ram. However whenever i put it into my pc, the computer wont turn on. Help?

apparently,512mb is the max size each module can be

    Technical Specifications
    Dell™ Dimension™ 2400 Series
    Memory capacities128-, 256-, or 512-MB

also specs say pc2100, or 2700….i believe 2 512’s of pc3200 will work
