For homework I have to fill in a bunch of computer part definitions && on the internet I cant find anything on it. The only stuff I have found were on the ROM, RAM, and a bunch of stuff I already have a definition for.
Does anyone know a small definition for Memory Sockets?

    Commonly refers to the slot computer memory is placed into on the computer motherboard or I/O Board.
    Term can also be used to describe PC card capable of storing data on the card.
