Ryan C asked:

My memory has been decreasing since last week, it was at 120 gb and now it’s at 103 gb. I don’t know what’s causing this but it’s really starting to annoy me. I haven’t even had this computer for a year yet. My computer is running on Windows Vista and I have avast antivirus, I’m currently running a virus scan. Can anyone recommend a scanner that will get rid of this virus and reclaim my memory back?

I’d recommend AVG as a free alternative to Avast.

Although if you’re willing to pay, NOD32 is one of the most accurate anti-viruses out there. http:\\www.eset.com

Even though you think it’s a virus, I don’t. Maybe you could try - it clears all the junk from your pc, fixes registry errors, etc. Basically boosts performance, and it’d clean every junk file it can find off your PC.

By the way, Vista uses up hard drive space as well.

If you think it’s spyware, a free scanner is Spybot Search & Destroy.
