How do I figure out what type of computer memory I have?

I have a computer RAM from an older computer. I’m trying to figure out how much memeory it is, but when I isntalled it I took the sticker off (which I now realize I shouldn’t have done). On the memory it says AUM and then 64X8/400 4406. This is repeated on each of the black chips, and there are 8 chips.

use crucial.com, they’ll tell you how much memory your computer has, and what kind of memory you should install in to your computer

It’s a 512MB card 333/400MHz. If you don’t feel like navigating to the system tools folder in the future, download FreeRAM XP Pro, and it’ll tell you what you have installed, and what is available at any given time.

That is a 512MB PC3200 (400MHz)
64 = 64MB x 8 (number of chips) 400 (400Mhz)

IF this is currently installed in the computer, then go to this web site and download the Upgrade Configuator.
It will create a report of the hardware in your computer, including the type and size of your RAM as well as video, processor and other possible upgrades.
The report can be printed for your records.
