How do I save something from my computer to a memory stick?

I have a memory stick and I have alot of data to put on it. I just can not figure out how to go from something that is saved already on my computer to the memory stick.If amy one knows please help me!Thanks

    If by when you say “memory stick” you mean USB flash drive, i can help.

    Go into MY COMPUTER
    and find the drive mapped to your device, and copy and paste the files into that directory

    plug the memory stick into the computer
    open the file you need saved
    file-save as
    at the bottom it will give you the option of locations to save to
    find the memory stick (will probably say flash drive or something like that)

    When you plug your memory stick into your computer’s USB port, the computer sees it like it were a removable drive. You just copy the files from your hard drive to the removable drive. Go to “My Computer” — you should see the icons for your various drives. One of them will be labeled “USB Flash Port” or something that should describe it enough for you to identify it. Then just copy and paste.

    All you have to do is go to
    Start >
    My Computer>

    You’ll see the memory stick occupying a drive - It may say “removable media”

    Then - you just drag and drop the file from your computer onto the icon.

    Once the computer recognizes the memory stick, it should be available to you throught My Computer (Windows 95-XP, or Computer for Vista). It should appear with the next available drive letter and be labelled Removeable Storage. You can then treat it as you would a hard drive.
    If you can navigate to the data on the hard drive, select the files that you want, right-click and select copy, then navigate to the memory stick, right-click and select paste.

    ok, open the drive where your files are eg. movies, pictures, documents. then open the drive where your stick is. on pc its “my computer, and removable drive” on mac its just on the desktop. from the original, “copy and paste” onto your stick. it might take a while if its a large file though, so just leave after that LOL

    Well if you have windows XP or vista you just plug the stick into your usb ports if it is a usb memory stick then click on start and go to the my computer or computer section and it should show your stick as a drive and then you double click to open that.

    Then you repeat the process by going to find your files that you saved… Like if you saved them in my documents you go to the my documents folder open it up… highlight the stuff you want then click and hold the mouse on it dragging it to the drive that you opened and it will be there

    put it in your computer
    if your computer didn’t auto pop up go to my computer
    search for the memory stick
    open it
    drag and drop your file in there
    done

    If you are talking about a USB flash drive, it is pretty simple. You click on ‘My Computer,’ and then there should be the name of your USB Memory Device. It should be under ‘Devices with Removable Storage.’ If you have the program open and it has a save button, save to that file in ‘My Computer.’ If you cant directly save because you have an icon, then drag the icon of your information you want to save onto the USB Removable Drive Icon. The information should move into the drive.

    This is easy: install the flash drive. Go to the file you want transfered - right click it and choose to send to - your flash drive.

    first you need to know what kind of card it is. is it transflash, SD, MMC, etc? Then if your computer does not have a spot for you to insert the card, you’ll have to buy an adapter that you plug your card into, then the adapter goes into your usb port. here’s a good one that i use that allows you to use all different kinds of memory sticks:

    To Copy Files to a Flash Drive / “memory stick”
    1. Attach the flash drive to your computer to a USB port.
    2. Restart the computer so that it will assign the Flash Drive a drive letter.
    3. Open your Explore Tree to drag and drop files >
    RIGHT click START > left click Explore >
    4. Locate your Flash drive with it’s assigned drive letter.
    Example: E: * or F:*
    5. Scroll to your files you want to copy to the external drive.
    6. RIGHT click the file so that it is highlighted /
    drag the file to the Drive letter until it is highlighted /
    drop the file / select COPY here
    or MOVE here.
