System is an Emachines (Gateway) W3118. It currently has Nanya pc3200 ddr400 memory. I want to add more but have discovered that “Kingston” is not compatible. I have contacted Emachines and they confirm the Kingston problem. Now I just need to decide what brand to go with.
It is a cheap computer and I do not have to have the best. Just need a little boost. It has been a good one computer. Owned for 1 year with absolutley no problems! Amazing for a $275 system.
