In 2001, there were 1/2 GBs of computer memory max. available in genrally purchaseable PC computers. Today, in 2008, general PC computers from the major sellers sell 4 GB of computer memory computers. Does anyone have any thoughts on when the motherboard form factor will increase to 8 GB of computer memory?

We already have the 8GB capability; however, at this time it is not practical due to the cost. Check out this motherboard It supports 8 core processors and 8GB of RAM
