Digging through my old stuff, I found this old video from a “how-to build your own PC” guide I was working on at the time.

Often, we would have customers install 180 degrees backwards, blowing up the RAM and the motherboard.

    Actually, when I worked RMA for the now defunct TCWO I would get A LOT of fried boards and RAM back from people installing RAM backwards. Good thing is, only the particular slot becomes unusable. The board isn’t completely fried.

    my ram slot is freaking unbelievable hard to insert a ram card in, why is tat so hard and how can i make it a bit like ur just push in and it in.

    i got 2 slots DDR2 (533) & DDR(400)
    in DDR(400) i have 2 cards 1gb 512X2
    i wanna extend the memory … which slot is better to extend?!
    p.s i wanna 2gb at least!
