Does downloading and transferring dvds to your IPOD eat up a lot of computer memory?

Im using Videora and a DVD decrypter to download and transfer movies onto my Classic Ipod. I was wondering if this is not good for my computer, memory-wise. Please Help!!

    Well it takes up a fair amount of memory, but there are also a bunch of other factors you have to take into mind such as how much RAM you have and other hardware and software specs.

    For the most part, I just leave the computer on overnight when ripping, because if you try to do other tasks on your computer it slows down the conversion as well as the task you’re trying to do.

    In terms of being “good” for your memory, I’m not quite sure what you mean. I mean once you’re done ripping your RAM for the most part goes back to it’s original state, but it won’t be fully fresh until you restart your computer.
