Tisha S asked:

I have 2 128 MB memory sticks installing in my laptop (going to replace with more memory), when i go to my computer properties why does it say I have 261,532KB RAM of memory? Is there something wrong and if so how can I fix it?

    it’s ok
    1 MB = 1024 KB
    2 * 128 MB = 256 MB * 1024 = 262144 KB

that is right, you have 261,532 KB, or 256 MB, it is a little less b/c of the conversion from bits to bytes, but all you need to know is that there is no problem.
