How to check computer memory?

ok, my c drive is full for no reason. i don’t have many program installed and i save almost all the program i downloaded myself into the d drive. i want to know how, if there is any way, to check what my memory is spend on on my computer. i have a window vista.

    Its simple go to your MyComputer click over it once and right click it . This will open a slide menu and then click on properties this will display you the visual view of your disk..
    Also as you said you have downloaded most of files in D: so try going for a DISK Cleanup when you click the properties of C:

    u can also free space by using disk clean-up
    go to start, programs,accessories,system tools then disk clean-up..

    hope it cud also help.=)

    Go to Control Panel, then double-click on “Programs and Features”. This is if your Control Panel is set to classic view. This should contains a list of all installed programs.
