♡ Wishful thinking ♡ asked:

When i put the memory card into my camera, it says that the card cannot be used. I tried plugging the card into my computer and it can’t open. It just opens a window that says “Autoplay” and it never loads.

Is something wrong with the memory card? How can i open it on my computer?
Thank you. But the card does NOT work in the camera since it says that the card cannot be used then the camera just shuts off.

I tried going on my computer and clicking the “SD card” file but it freezes when i do. I guess something’s wrong with the card and i’ll get a new one.

Close the autoplay window on the computer and look to see what drives you have. If there’s a new one, open it (double-click). That’s your camera card. If there’s an error with it, it needs to be formatted. Put it into the camera and let the camera format it. (If it won’t, try formatting it in the computer - right-click on whichever drive the card is (when it’s in the computer) and select format. You’ll delete any pictures on it, but you can’t get to them anyway, so it’s no loss.

If neither one (camera or computer) can read it, and neither one can format it, it’s probably bad and you’ll have to replace it. (They’re pretty cheap these days. Look in Wal-Mart of Best Buy.)
