How can I increase my computer’s memory?

DK asked:

My computer says that it only has 10% memory left. Most of the memory is being used in my Windows folder, but I can’t begin to know what to delete. I purchased RegCure and everytime I scan, there are three path reference problems. I have also attempted to run disc cleanup. Nothing seems to help. I have a Dell 400 desktop that is almost 3 1/2 years old.

Do you mean memory or hard drive space?

You can delete programs off your hard drive that you never use.

    Try running Microsoft’s Disk Cleanup.
Then run CCleaner (cleans out caches)

Ultimately, what you may want to consider is replacing your 3.5 year old hard drive with a new, larger, faster one. You can clone your whole drive to the new drive using Acronis TrueImage or HDClone.
