How do i backup my computer memory?

The operating system(windows xp home edition) is corrupt. Ive tried repairing it with no luck. However i know that the memory is still there. I could fix the computer but i would loose all memory. Is there a way to back it up so that when i erase the memory and fix the pc i can just load my memory from burned recordable cds?

memory is hardware, the os is software. if you cleanup the software by any means it will not effect the hardware as far as
destroying it , it would mean that you would have to reinstall the drivers for all of the devices you have on your machine.
if you can get all of the drivers and save them, then clean the machine, then reinstall the drivers then you should be fine.
any games you also will need to reinstall as well as programs.
good luck.
