For some time I have looked for the answer to this, but only find ads and stores. Does any one know the answers to these two questions?

memory is programmed into the bios memory chip and has a tiny very long life quality 3 volt coin cell , memory is also handled through you RAM = RANDOM ACESS MEMORY. to go on would drive you nuts and would fill volumes of books

Popular RAM (”memory”) producers include Kingston, Corsair, OCZ, G.Skill and pqi.
If by memory you mean harddrives, go with Seagate or Western Digital.
