Those actually go hand in hand. Processes are things running on the pc at that moment. Most of which are running behind the scenes to keep it running like it should. If you have a lot of processes running, you will want more memory to handle them better so the pc does not lag. Typically, on a computer, the more of whatever…the better!

what do you mean to “computer memory” and “computer usage”? those option are the same. they are diferrent on how you present it but still it is not good.

Both are very important.
Today a PC with Core 2 Duo 2.6 GHz and 2 - 3 Gb RAM is Very Good.

Hey and welcome to YAhoo answers
I would definately reccomend the first one less memory but more processors, a computer is useless without a good processor, say you have an intel core duo 2.0GHZ and 100 gb of ram, your computer will be very very slow.
always get something with a processor above Intel Core 2 Duo, this means that whatever the Ghz is, its double, which means if you have 2.0Ghz its actually 4Ghz because you have 2 processors, which will make your computer super fast
Good luck!

It depends who is paying for it. If I am not paying for it, I would want the largest processor I could get and then I will buy the ram (much cheaper these days). Your processor speed determines how fast the PC will compute or do work while the RAM (random access memory) determines how much can be stored in temporary memory.
