I’ve played this online game and I love it so much. The time has expired and it won’t allow me play despite the fact that I’ve uninstalled it and installed again. How do I get to replay it fresh without formatting the computer.

The only way (without going into the registry, which isn’t worth it) is to change the date on your computer back to a date that the program worked.
Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Easy: pay the shareware fee. The point of a time-limited free trial is that it’s only free for a little while while you try it. After that you’re supposed to pay for it.

If it’s an online game, chances are the time limit is attached to your user name rather than the installation on your computer, so reinstalling won’t restart your free trial.

i think you’ll find you slightly wrong emilyrose! It really does depend on which game it is!
