Is it possible to buy memory for a computer that was manufactured in 1998?

This may sound stupid, but I have the sims 2,and my computer doesn’t have enough memory to maintain normal gameplay for all the expansion packs. I don’t think that they sell memory for computers so old, but I’m just making sure.

    You can get them at second hand computer shops. E-bay. It’s probably a pc 100 memory card.

    Yes, it is entirely possible. Several vendors online or your nearest computer shop will likely have RAM (memory) for a computer of that vintage. Try to find out as much about your computer before going in so you can be sure to get exactly what you need. Better yet, turn the computer off, open the case and remove a stick of RAM from your motherboard to take with you to the shop.
